Rent matched to your bank, and landlord statements you can stand over.

Every figure a landlord client sees traces back to a receipt, a matched bank line or a ledger entry. Leasebook keeps the record; your bank moves the money.

From your bank statement to matched rent.

Import the statement file your bank gives you. Leasebook suggests which rent record each transaction matches, shows why, and lists the ones it could not match. Nothing is recorded until someone on your team accepts it.

Arrears, and the pattern behind them.

See which tenancies are in arrears and by how much. You also see the pattern of late payments across the portfolio, so one overdue month isn’t the whole story.

A client account ledger that has to balance.

Every entry is double-entry. If an entry doesn’t balance, Leasebook shows you the difference and doesn’t save it.

Landlord statements, fixed once issued.

One statement per landlord client, not per flat. Issuing it fixes that version. Once a period is closed, its figures come from the ledger, so a backdated receipt can’t rewrite what a landlord client was already told. Prepare a landlord's year summary from issued statements, with recorded expenses alongside. Download journal files for your accountant.

A payment file for your bank.

Prepare a SEPA payment file, the standard format for euro bank transfers, and upload it to your bank. Any landlord left out of the file is listed with the reason. Your bank makes the payments.

Where the money stays.

  • We never hold or move client money

Rent goes into your client account and your bank makes every payment.

  • We never initiate a payment

You make payments through your bank and record them in Leasebook.
